In 2003, Eaton set up a best-in-class engineering center in Pune – the Eaton India Engineering Center (EIEC). Since then, EIEC has become a major product engineering, design and development center for Eaton’s global customers.
EIEC has engineering and design teams for multiple businesses and has developed Centers of Excellence in Modeling and Simulation, Software Engineering, Reliability Engineering, and Dynamics and Controls. While business teams focus on developing and improving technologies, products, and design processes for their respective businesses, the CoEs collaborate with multiple business groups to help develop products. |
