Arun Jaura Named Eaton Vice President – Technology, Eaton India Engineering Center.

PUNE … Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation (NYSE:ETN) today announced that Arun Jaura has been named vice president – Technology, effective March 16. Jaura will lead the Eaton India Engineering Center in Pune, India

"Arun brings a great breadth of experience to Eaton," said Yannis Tsavalas, Eaton chief technology officer. "He has worked very successfully at diversified industrial companies and is familiar with many of Eaton's markets and customers. Arun also has done significant work in the area of innovation and global technology, which is a key area of focus for Eaton."

Jaura joins Eaton from Mahindra & Mahindra Limited, Mumbai, India, where he held positions as group chief technology officer and senior vice president of global development since 2005. Previously, Jaura held engineering leadership positions with Ford Motor Company, Dearborn, Michigan.

Jaura holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the National Institute of Technology in Srinagar, India, and a master’s of technology from Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai, India. Jaura also holds a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering, specializing in robotics, from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada.
