The Global Sourcing center was established to tap into India’s immense sourcing potential. The objective was to identify and develop a capable supplier base for Eaton’s global operations. The focus was on commodities like casting, forging and screw machine components.
In addition to the team which supports these activities, the global sourcing center has an advanced engineering team that is involved in product design and development. This team is attached to the engineering center and is responsible for helping with sourcing decisions for every division. |
